Trip to Iowa

Last weekend we went to Springville, IA, to visit Jordan's family. It was so fun! We arrived Thursday night after midnight and headed straight to bed. :) Amongst our luggage was Jordan's new gun, his X-Box, and his system link to connect two X-Boxes together. I heard rumors that Grant was up at 6:30 AM on Friday in anticipation of playing X-Box, but unfortunately he could not find the X-Box, so he had to wait until Jordan got up at 8:30. Grant's friend Henry came over and brought his X-Box and his TV, so Jordan hooked the two TVs and X-Boxes up to each other and thus began the X-Box Marathon! Most of Friday was dedicated to X-Box. Jordan and Grant took a break for a while in the afternoon to run some errands in town. Luke and Andria arrived in the afternoon as well. On Saturday Jordan and his dad put new brake pads on our car. It was a pretty big job, I think, because they got pretty dirty and didn't finish until after noon! Starting at 1:30, there were a bunch of guys playing football over at Nate Day's, so Jordan and Luke went and played all afternoon over there. We girls stayed home and watched a nice girly movie ("The Majestic"). :) On Sunday we went to church in the morning and in the afternoon we visited Grandma and Pa. Jordan helped Grandma assign rings to people on her phone. In the process, he somehow changed the name on her phone to say "Granny." Hmmm..... ;) We left for home around 4:30, I think. The weather was really nasty, so it took us till 12:30AM to get back. :P But other than that, we had such a wonderful weekend! It was so nice to get away and to spend some time with family!
