Just for Mom

Okay, Mom, these are the lovely flowers I was telling you about. Notice the very realistic 'dew drops' on the petals!! ;) Haha!!!
Oh, and I just wanted to say that last night was very exciting because we had a mischievous child pull the fire alarm in our apartment building. I was so relieved when I found out that it wasn't going off because of my cooking!! :D lol!
Jordan planted our garden this week, so I guess now we can be one of those wonderful people that are always trying to give away their extra produce in the fall! ;)
And, last Saturday I went fishing and caught my first fish! I was going to dedicate a whole post to this monumental moment in my life, but I forgot/ran out of time until Julie's post about Jason's fishing trip reminded me. :) I even took them off the hook all by myself (well, mostly)! And let me tell you, those fish are very scary when they flop around....or at least I thought they were scary!! You know how fish have those killer fins going on...! I can't even imagine how funny it would have been to be on the shore and watch me out there fishing in the canoe!!! I think I screamed every time I hooked a fish and I was very jumpy and giddy pulling them into the boat. It was thrilling!! Definitely not something this girly-girl has ever done before!!! :D
Well, Jordan and I are heading to South Bend, IN this afternoon for a PR trip for Northland. Should be fun!
