Jordan and I drove down to Iowa on Friday the 30th. I actually managed to talk him into stopping at the outlets in Oshkosh for a couple of hours on the way down!! (Yay! Snaps for me! Haha!) We stayed up late with Grant and Luke watching "Firewall" (pretty good, although I'll have to admit that Harrison Ford isn't exactly in "Indiana Jones" form anymore!) Friday night. On Saturday Jordan went with Luke and Grant to play basketball, and Mom and the girls came and picked me up to take me to Fairfax to see Jason and Julia in the parade! :)

We were starting to think we were at the wrong parade! Finally, we saw Jason and Julia walking along with the contingency from Jason's bank where he works. Aww, they're so cute! :)
The float behind Jason and Julia had a big hose and were drenching everyone as they went by. Jason and Julia were kind enough to warn us as they walked by. Can't you just hear Julia yelling, "Water! Step back!" Thanks for looking out for us, guys! :D
Julia's Mom all the way from Texas was in the parade too! Apparently she preferred "Moe's" company to Jason and Julia's. Hmmmm... ;)
I hope you can read the back of this guy's shirt! Julie and Jess thought they should get one like it for Jordan! Heehee! :D
Later in the afternoon, Jason and Julia played in a softball game. Jason was the mighty pitcher.

hhaha! yeah - snaps for you, jenn! i forgot about that - he,hee! and a thumbs up, too - it's the crown! ;) i like your big word, contingency, too - you're so cute! jules and i are going to have to brush up on our vocabulary before we come - i'm getting rusty cause i haven't hung around you guys much for so long! ;) haha! you got some good pix! that was so fun to ALL be together! it was an awesome weekend! love you and miss you!
