The Maintenance Office

I have to think that my job is one of the most interesting jobs on campus. There is such an odd combination of personalities here, which definitely helps to keep things exciting! :) I can hardly believe that it has already been almost an entire year since I started working in the Maintenance Office! The days seemed so long at first, but I have grown to love it over here as time has gone by.
Jess took this picture of me. I didn't want her to take it, which is why I have a kinda funny expression on my face! :D

Here's a picture of Ozzie, Kelly Curell's new dog (Kelly is the Grounds Crew Supervisor for the Maintenance Department). Ozzie is a 1-yr-old Rottweiler, and he's so fun!! Kelly brought him into the office on Monday so we could all meet him. I have a feeling that Jordan and I will be babysitting this doggy before too long! ;)

This is a picture of my little Christmas tree that I have on my desk. It's just a little bigger than my computer screen! :) I think it's so cute! As I was decorating it, I suddenly realized I didn't have anything for a topper. So Thad Smith (who works in the Auto Shop here) offered to make me a shiny silver star for it! I just had to draw a star on a piece of paper so he'd know how big I wanted it and he did the rest! It's just some kind of shiny thin metal and on the back he used some epoxy to attach a wire to it so I can wrap it around the top branch of the tree. Isn't it cute!? I think it's the perfect little "Maintenance-y" touch! :)

Ozzie looks a little like Simon but with half the tummy.
