Some New Years' Thoughts

Bill Vaughan
"Youth is when you're allowed to stay up late on New Year's Eve. Middle age is when you're forced to."

Jay Leno
"Now there are more overweight people in America than average-weight people. So overweight people are now average… which means, you have met your New Year's resolution."

Bill Vaughan
"An optimist stays up until midnight to see the New Year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves."

Anonymous
"Many people look forward to the New Year for a new start on old habits."

Joey Adams
"May all your troubles last as long as your New Year's resolutions!"

Easy-to-Keep New Year Resolutions:

1. I want to gain weight. Put on at least 30 pounds.
2. Stop exercising...it's a waste of time.
3. Read less.
4. Watch more TV. I've been missing some good stuff.
5. Procrastinate more.
6. Stop eating at home so much: I should eat out more.
7. Have my car lowered and invest in a really loud stereo system. Get the windows tinted. Buy some fur for the dash.
8. Spend my summer vacation in Cyberspace.
9. Create loose ends.
10. Get more gadgets.
11. Not believe politicians.
12. Break at least one traffic law.
13. Not drive a motorized vehicle across thin ice.
14. Not swim with piranhas or sharks.
15. Spread out priorities beyond my ability to keep track of them.
16. Wait around for opportunity.
17. Focus on the faults of others.
18. Mope about my faults.
19. Never make any more new year resolutions.

Hope you all had a great Holiday Season! We sure did! I'll try to post more about that later! It was great seeing so many family and friends...we're missing you all!
