Time is FLYING!

So sorry that it's already been over a week since my last post! Things have been so busy. We are almost half-way through our Spring Break here at Northland. Jordan and I have been dog-sitting for our friends, the Curells. They have 3 dogs: a Schnauzer, Mindy; a Brittany, Rusty; and a Rottweiler, Ozzie. Ozzie is still a puppy, but he is HUGE. Therefore, you have all the barking, jumping, chewing, and everything else that a puppy does wrapped up in a very large body. So, I mostly stick to taking care of Mindy and Rusty and let Jordan handle Oz. :) We still have some fun plans for the rest of this week, but I probably won't be able to post about those until early next week. So stay tuned.... ;)

We had a fun 'game night' teen activity at church Friday night. There were about 15 of us there and some of the guys set up some game systems. I stuck to playing Spoons; it's so much more fun than trying to figure out how to run the controllers on those games! :D We did play a couple rousing rounds of Mafia as well (and I do mean 'rousing'...haha!). If you have never played Mafia with Junior Highers, you are definitely missing out!! It's a hoot! We also spent some time reading about the life of Christ and talking about how it affects our lives, and then we wound up the night with ice cream and brownies. I don't know if that was such a great idea! Those kids were already so hyper, I'm not sure if sugar was really what they needed! Emily kept saying, "I'm so hyper!" It was so funny! We gave Emily a ride to and from the activity and stopped at a gas station for some pop before bringing her home. I'm sure her mom was really glad we did that! ;) Haha!!

Okay, here I wanted to get a picture with Jordan, but he would not smile. This is actually the 3rd picture we had taken.... At this point the girls were trying to help me out with attempting to make him smile.
