A Game of Tag

Apparently there is a little game of tag going on in the Blogger world. The rules are, that if you are tagged by someone you need to post 8 facts about yourself on your blog and then turn around and tag 8 other blogging friends. I had noticed a few other people had been ‘tagged’ and then earlier this week, April Mohler ‘tagged’ me! So here goes:

1.) I am a neat freak!!! I love having a clean, organized home and I can hardly go to sleep if I know that things are not picked up around the house. I always spend some time picking up during the last 5 minutes or so before bed, and if Jordan has piles of papers and books out, he pretty much has to ‘claim his territory’ so I don’t take his stuff! Poor guy!

2.) I love dark chocolate!

3.) The only position in which I can actually fall asleep is on my stomach. If I am laying in bed and have a lot on my mind and don’t want to fall asleep right away, I’ll lay on my back so I can think because I know I’ll stay awake until I turn over onto my stomach.

4.) Jordan is the only boy I ever dated and I am the only girl he ever dated. I know, isn’t that sweet? :)

5.) One of my quirks is that I love alphabetizing things and color-coding things. In my closet and drawers, all of my clothes are organized by type and then by color. The colors are always in the order of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, blue, violet), with the different shades ranging from light to dark. All of our DVD’s are alphabetized in a large CD case, and all the DVD cases are stored alphabetized in a drawer. I alphabetize everything from books, to CD’s, to sheet music! I’m totally out of control!! Hahaha! ;)

6.) My absolute favorite color has always been and will always be PINK! I thought I would eventually grow out of it, but to this day, I gravitate to the pink necklace, shirt, blanket, skirt, pillow, sunglasses, nail polish, lipstick, you-name-it...if it’s available, I want it in pink!

7.) I have a very vivid imagination. From the time that I was a little girl, I could make up all sorts of exciting stories that I would tell to my sisters at night when we were supposed to be sleeping. I had a few ‘series’ that would take me an several months to tell! And I would always just be making them up as I told them. I think that could be part of the reason why I am so easily affected by movies and music.

8.) I have a phobia about bugs and spiders and creepy-crawly things! I know, “they can’t hurt me” and “they’re more afraid of me than I am of them”...my mom always told me all of those things! But I still can’t seem to shake my terror. So if you see me screaming and jumping around, it’s probably because I just discovered a spider crawling across my shoe or something! ;)
