8 Days till Thanksgiving

I am thankful for...

1. The Day of Prayer today. I was able to attend the morning meetings, and they were such a blessing as they focused on Jesus Christ.
2. Jason and Julia who are going to make me an auntie for the new year! :)
3. G2 pens. I love the thick and even ink!
   
4. The timer on my coffee maker at home. For some reason, it makes me feel very special to have my coffee made for me in the morning, even though I am the one who set the timer the night before!
5. Dr. Olson. He is such a godly man. I try to remember to pray for him every day. I cannot imagine the burdens he must bear and the attacks Satan must bring against him. But every time he is in the pulpit, I am so challenged by his words; and every time I see him, I am challenged by the way he lives his life every day.
6. My sparkly diamond ring. I still haven't 'gotten over it!' It's such a pretty ring, and I'm such a lucky girl! :)
7. The empty laundry room last night. I was able to get all my laundry done without any waiting! That doesn't happen too often!
   
8. My childhood. I know, that probably seems a little weird; but I really am thankful for the way that I was brought up...for the fun times, and the discipline; for my godly, loving parents, and my brother and sisters who were my favorite playmates and are still my best friends! It would take a book for me to enumerate all the ways that God blessed me growing up!
9. The fresh clean smell after I finished cleaning the apartment last night. Love that!
10. Laughter. :D
