I don't know what it is, but I absolutely love Christmas decorations. I started putting mine up the Saturday before Thanksgiving this year. I wasn't able to do everything that day, though, because I wanted to make some wreaths but needed to buy a hot glue gun. (One of the difficult things about living here is that if you forget to pick something up in town, you won't get another opportunity for a week! There's no such thing as a 'quick run to the store.' Oh, well, I suppose that it is teaching me a very good discipline of making a list throughout the week and shopping with that in hand.) So, anyway, the decorations are up and the apartment looks so cheery and cozy. There's just nothing like twinkle lights and sparkly ornaments and red ribbons and green garlands! I love them! :D

your apartment is SO cute! you should post another picture that's mostly dark so we can see the effects of all the lights :) SO cozy, jen!!! your tree is fun - i had forgotten which ornaments you got to take from our tree, it's fun to see them again!
a thought i had (even though it's rather delayed in getting to you) was hanging ribbon and ornaments down from that half-wall you have between your kitchen and living room. would that work? jason & julia did that in their trimont house, which is what made me think of that idea :) it'd be cute!

jenn, it looks amazing! u're so good at decorating! i love the new wreaths - that's like pottery barn, and i also love the lights and garland above your cupboards. it's going to be so wierd that i won't see any of that in person this year...kinda makes me feel sentimental enough to cry :( i miss u SO much and love u! merry christmas!! xo
