Sometimes I Could Just Kick Myself

Jess was here this past weekend, and we did not take one picture!! NOT ONE!!! Can you believe it?!?! We, who are usually such crazy picture freaks...and neither of us pulled out the camera even once! :P I could just kick myself for letting the whole weekend pass without taking any pictures! Grrr...!

We did have a great time together, though...although we don't have any pictures to catalog our activities. ;) Jess arrived a little after 5 on Friday, and we had her and Josh down to the apartment for supper. Then, we had Megan & Helaine down around 7, and then we all went up to the gym to watch our guys' basketball team beat Pillsbury! Wahoo! :) Then, during the half-time, there was a contest for anyone in the audience to see who could be the first to make a half-court shot. The winner was to receive $50 applied to their school bill. On a whim, Josh went down to give it a try (after about 30 other people had already tried) and he made it!!! We were all very impressed! ;) Saturday morning we got up early and drove up to Marquette, MI, to go skiing!!! It had been 5 years since I skied! We skied from around 11am till 8pm. What a BLAST!! I was really glad I had Jess along to ski with because the boys started going off all these crazy jumps and stuff...basically leaving us in their powder! Haha! It was so good to have some sister time together! We got home really late on Saturday night. Jordan still had to finish getting his Sunday School lesson ready for the next morning, so Jess and I watched "Sweet Home Alabama." Jess left after church on Sunday afternoon. :( I'm so glad she got to make the trip, though!!!

Julie is starting her student teaching this week down in Juneau, WI. Please pray for her!
