Happy Valentine's Day!

“I have loved you with an everlasting love;

therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”

~Jeremiah 31:3

The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save;

he will rejoice over you with gladness;

he will quiet you by his love;

he will exult over you with loud singing.”

~Zephaniah 3:17

God has definitely shown His love in my life! When I think of the love that He had for me when I was still a sinner, I am completely floored that He has freely given me the gift of His salvation! This alone should be enough for us all to show unconditional love to those around us. And, with it being Valentines’ Day, I think this is the perfect time for us to demonstrate that love to those around us. So, I really enjoy celebrating Valentines’ Day. I am definitely having fun wearing pink today, and I do think my pink fingernails are quite becoming! Heehee! ;) After all, God has given me one very special Valentine in particular. I am hopelessly in love with Jordan! How can I help but be, when he is so wonderful!? Okay, bear with me while I just get a little sappy here. Jordan is truly the perfect match for me. I know for certain that God meant us for each other. Every day reminds me of that fact! My emotions are sometimes up and down, but Jordan is always steady (and, thankfully, understanding!). I am by nature a shy person, but Jordan’s confident friendliness helps me come out of my ‘shell’ more readily. I love to bake pies, and Jordan loves to eat them! Heehee! I generally hate driving and love riding, and Jordan loves driving and can hardly stand not being the one behind the wheel. I love keeping the house neat and clean, and Jordan is fine with ‘letting it go’ until he ‘has time’ to clean it up. ;) I am not very strong at all (even though I do work out!), but Jordan has all kinds of muscles to lift pretty much anything that needs lifting! I love reading directions to things, and Jordan likes to figure things out himself. I could go on and on with this silly list of ways that we complement each other, but I think you’re probably getting the idea! I suppose that everyone starts to notice things like that after they’ve been married for a little while. I am just so thankful for God’s wisdom in giving me a husband like Jordan. He is a wonderful gift and a source of constant joy in my life. Jordan, you are my favorite, and I love you so much! Happy Valentines’ Day, Honey!
