Some Tired Ramblings

I feel like my brain is mush today! :P We made a quick trip to Iowa this weekend for Luke's wedding (Jordan's older brother) and I just feel so tired now! We really packed a lot of activity into a few days! But, I'm going to post more about that later...I have about a billion pictures I need to go through first! ;) For now, it'll have to suffice to say that the wedding was a wonderful, sweet time for us all and we have many beautiful memories to cherish from that day!

Besides the wedding, I was lucky enough to be able to squeeze in some time with my family while we were in Iowa. It was wonderful to see my little nephew Kaden again!!! I can't believe how much he's grown in 3 months! I'm excited that it will only be a month until I get to see him again! We took lots of pictures, as we always do when my family gets together!!! Heehee! :D

We went back to work this morning as usual. Things in the office are always pretty busy after you miss a couple days! Kelly and Steve have continued with their camera vigil down at the bear's den. They went down on Friday to check on it, but Momma Bear had apparently gotten annoyed with the camera and she actually took it down and batted it around for a while! As a result, we got over 100 pictures of a tree branch and one picture of one of the cubs. He looks so frightened by the flash!!! Poor guy will be scarred for life! Haha!

They did rehang the camera and visited it again today. They had it positioned just a little too high, and we ended up with a bunch of pictures of Momma Bear's back. :) So, they repositioned it, and we'll have to wait for a couple days to see what they get!

I thought I would also share these cool pictures that Steve's son took the other day of a bald eagle. It's pretty neat that he was able to get that close to him!

Just minding my own business...

What are you looking at?

You'd think a bald eagle could get a little respect for his privacy!

You're STILL following me?! What is WRONG with you!? Have you never seen a bald eagle before?!

Well, I'll post more in the next day or so with wedding and Kaden pictures! :)
