Packing Progress

The last week has flown by! I feel like we've been caught up in a whirl-wind that is moving at lightning speed towards Des Moines! A week ago today, we were driving home from Iowa still a little stunned by how quickly God had brought things about. The rest of the past week has shaped up like this:
  • Thursday - we packed up the stuff in our shed
  • Friday - we sorted through clothes
  • Saturday - packed up the Living Room and Master Bedroom
  • Sunday - packed up the Spare Room
  • Monday - packed up the linen closet and bathroom and started on the kitchen
  • Tuesday - packed up food in the kitchen
Hopefully tonight after church I will have enough time to pack up most of our dishes. So far God has been so faithful to provide us with lots of good boxes (Northland just happened to get a huge shipment of computers this week!). So, packing is right on track so far, which is good. I still feel like it hasn't completely sunk in that we are truly leaving here completely in 10 days. It will be a really hard thing. But, don't get me wrong! I am very, very excited about what God has for us in Des Moines...I'm just sad to leave this behind, that's all.

Well, Jess asked me to post pictures of my progress, so here they are...almost all our worldly belongings:

You will be in my prayers as you set out on this new venture in life. How fun to get to set up house all over again!
