Our New Home

Okay girls, here's the tour! Hope you enjoy! :)

This is the view from the main entrance to our apartment. You walk into the living room and to the left is a desk (which you cannot see in this picture). We decided to leave the couch low by not putting the legs back on it. Jordan really likes it like that...I'm still deciding. ;) As you can see, the boxes that Jordan needs to unpack are sitting on the floor there. They are the only ones left! :)

I don't really have many pictures or anything like that hung yet...just a few things so far. But I did get this shelf situated, and I like the way it turned out! Haha, although I just noticed that I forgot to move the little bottle of Alieve before I took a picture! O well! :)

Okay, moving on into the living room, this is the view looking back at the door where we entered (on the left) and the desk in the corner. Our apartment is quite a bit more spacious than the last one we were in! From this spot, there is a short hallway that leads into the kitchen.

This is taken from the same spot as the previous picture, but looking straight ahead instead of towards the entrance. We have windows on opposite sides of the apartment, so we have a nice cross-breeze most days! :)

All right, turning around to head into the kitchen, this is what you see. There are a few things that I am excited about in this kitchen: patio, dishwasher, and garbage disposal!!! :D

I opened the blinds so you can see my view a little. I'm glad that my view is just the yard rather than looking straight across into someone else's apartment.

This view is from over by the patio window. The door to the left is the back entrance to the apartment. The washer and dryer are also right out there, which is very convenient. :)

And this is looking back toward the way we entered. You can kinda see the little hallway that leads back into the living room, and to the right is the longer hallway that goes to the bathrooms and bedrooms.

I just knew everyone would want to see this picture of our exciting hallway!!! :D One of the best parts about this apartment is all the closet space we have! Next to the front entrance is a coat closet, directly behind me in this shot (in the little hallway between the kitchen and living room) is another very roomy closet, the second door to the left in this picture is another closet, and straight ahead is the linen closet. The spare bedroom is all the way at the end on the left, and there are two closets in there, and the master bedroom is the second door on the right and has a walk-in closet! Whew! The perfectionist side of me has been having a hay-day finding a place for every little thing! ;)

Here's the main bathroom, which was the first door on the right going down that hallway in the previous picture.

And this is our master bedroom. I don't have any pictures hung up in here yet, so it looks pretty bare from this angle, but at least I pulled the bed covers up! ;) In the far right corner of the room is the master bathroom, and in the far left corner is the walk-in closet.

This is looking from the corner where the walk-in closet is. You can see the bathroom door to the left, and the bedroom door to the right.

And here's the half-bathroom off the master bedroom.

I didn't take any pictures of the spare bedroom because Grant has been staying with us in there, so I figured it wouldn't be a good time to take a picture of that room with the air mattress on the floor and stuff like that. ;)

So, that's it! :) Outside, the apartment complex also has a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a basketball hoop....plenty of activities to keep Jordan busy! ;) We really like it here, and we feel so blessed to have such a nice place to live!
