Seriously, though, who doesn't love a puppy?! All cute and cuddly and furry and energetic and curious and chewy and playful...!
But the 'favoritism' reaches a whole new level when the puppy actually belongs to you!!!
So, allow me to introduce you to our new puppy, Macy!! The pictures below are the only ones we have of her so far. She's almost 4 weeks old, so we don't have her yet. We probably won't have her for another 3 or 4 weeks (such a long time!). She's the white and black one in the pictures below. Isn't she a cutie?!?!? She's an English Cocker Spaniel and comes from a long line of great hunting dogs. That's the main reason we are getting her, because Jordan wants a hunting dog since he's planning to do a lot of hunting now that we're living in IA. We've both been wanting to get a dog for a long time, but when we were living at Northland dogs weren't allowed in our apartment. :( So, after lots of waiting and research, we decided this is the best kind of dog for us. (Well, actually, Jordan has done most of the work of researching...I pretty much just care about how cute she is and how sweet she is! Haha!) She won't get to be very big, so she'll be great for the apartment. And her temperament is supposed to be very sweet friendly, which will make her a great companion. And English Cocker Spaniels are notorious for their intelligence and hunting instincts, so she'll be great for Jordan to hunt with!!
So, we're really excited and can hardly wait to have Macy here with us! Of course, it'll be an adjustment, but I suppose it's about time us 'kids' decided to take on a little bit of responsibility! Haha! ;) Be looking for Macy to make regular appearances on our blog from now on! :D

awe, jenny! i LOVE her! she's SO cute! and i'm super excited cause i'm thinking by the time i get down there at the end of august, you'll probably have her! yay! i'm so glad u have pix and that u posted them! how'd u decide to name her macy?
Congrats! I love puppies too! We have a chocolate lab named Godiva and we have fallen in love with her. She is now three years old, but still has the puppiness about her.
Good luck with the hunting dog training. My stepdad bought a German Short-Hair Pointer for that same reason. However, she became a lap dog and has never became the mighty hunter they assumed she would. Hopefully Jordan has more luck.

We had a cocker spaniel growing up, and yes all the things you said about her are true. WE love our dog at home, and she follows my father around everywhere. Very loyal. She even growls when my dad hugs my mom or something. Very sweet tempered and a good size. You will have so much fun.
Awww, she's adorable! :D I'm jealous - I've missed having a dog for several years now, and want one so badly. I will instead live vicariously through pictures you post. Yay, puppies! :D
