Jordan's Birthday

Jordan's birthday was on Monday. He worked for part of the day, but came home in the middle of the afternoon! We went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant - so yummy!! :D In the evening, Jordan played softball for a city league and I took Macy along to watch. We walked around the park the whole time Jordan played and we cheered for him as loudly as we could. Well, I cheered and Macy just wagged her tail. ;) When we got home, I made a pecan pie. I thought it would be really fun to put a birthday candle in the middle of the pie so we could have a little party together! So, I stuck the candle in there (but didn't light it yet), and then went to get Jordan. We ended up talking for a couple minutes before coming back into the kitchen to have our pie. I noticed that the candle was kinda leaning over to one side, so I pulled it up a little to straighten it out and then realized that there was no wax left on the candle string (or whatever-you-call-it)! It had all melted off!! So, Jordan ended up just holding his birthday candle! I'm glad he's such a good sport! :D I never did find the blue wax in the pie. Haha!
