I'm probably classifying myself with about 90% of the world's population when I say that Christmastime is one of my favorite times of the whole year! I love turning on the radio and hearing Christmas carols, driving downtown and seeing the decorations on the houses and stores (especially the big red SALE signs in the store windows!), and the perfectly justified reason to do A LOT of shopping as I hunt for the perfect gifts for the lucky people on my list! ;) Normally, I pull out my decorations pretty early in the season...Jordan's usually holding me back to keep me from putting it all up before Thanksgiving! This year, I am planning to do it today! Yes, you read that right...TODAY! December 12th!!!!! All of two weeks before Christmas! I'll have to admit this whole pregnancy thing has really taken it out of me, much more than I anticipated! After Thanksgiving we were only home for a few days before Jordan went hunting, and I worked all but one of the days we were home, and there's just not enough energy left for things like decorating after work (seriously, you should see my laundry pile! AAAAAHHHH!!!)! So, today I'm not working and I'm going to play Christmas music and watch Elf (not simultaneously, of course!) while I put up decorations in my new house! Happily, there is snow on the ground outside and tonight we will be spending the evening with good friends! Sounds wonderful, huh?
...And if I get cold, I'll be thinking about Certain People who are spending the next week or so in a much Warmer Climate (i.e., FLORIDA!) and wondering which of us is really the crazy one! ;)

I went out yesterday to finish my Christmas shopping...yep! Came home with a new jacket for me! Love the sales this time of year!
that sounds so cozy! a lot of that sounds like stuff we're doing today - wish so much that we could all be doing it together! miss and love u so much! ox
