Easter Weekend with the Horaks

This year, we spent Easter weekend with the Horaks.  We drove over Friday night after work.  I held Macy in my lap almost the entire time, and she would hardly sit still!  The little twirp seemed to think my tummy was meant for climbing, and kept putting her paws up on it or sitting her rear on it!  :P  This did not make for the most comfortable ride I've ever had, and I would have made her ride in her kennel...but she's just too cute!  ;)  She and Mia were very joyfully reunited when we got to our destination.  The two were practically inseparable for the entire weekend!

Saturday, the boys spent a lot of time outdoors working on various projects and training the dogs.  In the morning, Grant & Anna had play practice, so I tagged along for that.  The rest of the day, we played games, prepared food for Sunday's Easter meal (or, rather, we watched Mom prepare the food!  Haha!), and spent time working through some wedding planning!

Anna apparently was hiding from the camera!  ;)  I took this picture during one of our games of 'Speedie' - one of my favorite games to play with Anna!

On Sunday, the whole family went to church.  We got to watch Grant & Anna perform in their Easter play.  They did great!

After church, we took some pictures.

I promised Mom I would take some pictures of Jordan & me that weekend, so here's a close-up...

...and here's one farther away (so you can see my tummy, haha!).  Thanks for the pretty dress, Mom!  :)

Sunday afternoon Nana (Jordan's great-grandma) came over!  It was fun to see her again!  She always has lots of interesting stories!

Here's a picture of Anna &  I in our Easter dresses

We had an Easter Egg Hunt in the afternoon.  Jordan's Mom & Dad hid all the eggs around the yard, and then we went hunting.  I didn't do too badly...I think I had 12 or 13.  Jordan beat me by one or two.  I think Grant probably had the most of all.

We left Sunday night since we had to be back to work on Monday.  Thankfully, Macy was so worn out from all her frolicking with Mia that she slept peacefully on my lap for the entire trip!  ;)

That's one regret that I have--I didn't get enough pictures of me pregnant! The kids love to look at the few I do have from when they were in my tummy! Takes lots of pictures!!!
