Our Fourth of July

I can hardly believe that the 4th of July has come and gone again already!! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating in the Cedar Rapids area again this year. Jordan's family threw another great party and my family came and joined in on the festivities, which was really fun for me! The only damper on this year's party was that it rained all morning and the temperature never got very warm. We were wearing sweatshirts/long-sleeves most of the day! Somehow, the kids still managed to make good use of the pool, though! Amazing how they can be so oblivious to the cold!!

Anna & I tested our cameras out on each other before the party started to make sure they would be working right! ;)

Traditional self-portrait. We tried taking it with both of our cameras at the same time!

Me with my sisters :)

The boys played bocce ball for a while (Jordan, Mike, Justin, Jason, and Grant)

I got to hold Mike & Eltza's 6-wk-old baby Max for a while. It was so funny how he fell asleep curled around my tummy!

Kaden was in this pose a lot over the weekend...he's pointing at Macy and saying "Dog!" Heehee!

Kaden & I sat in the middle of the trampoline and Julie & Jess bounced us!! It was so fun! Mom was standing there watching and was so worried I was going to go into labor! Haha! No harm done, though; and I think Serena liked it too! ;)

Kaden with his adoring aunties :D

More bouncing

Of course, we had to get the guns out for a little while.

That evening, we went to Central City to watch the fireworks. They had a great display!

Mom had brought a bunch of sparklers in her purse for us to play with. Kaden was enthralled!

On Sunday, we went to church at Faith in Robins (where Luke & Anna and Mike & Eltza normally attend). My whole family went there too, so afterwards we all went out to eat together at Chile's. Yummy!!!!

Jennifer, you keep enjoying all that mexican food :) You may find it helps labor go faster and a tiny bit easier. At least it always helped me. I've enjoyed following your blog.
