Valentine's Day Weekend

We were with Jordan's family over Valentine's Day weekend. Jordan had to do a training seminar at the Cedar Rapids branch of the company he works for on Monday, and Andria had a baby shower that I wanted to be at on Saturday. It worked out great that both events happened on the same weekend! I was so glad that we got to be there for Andria's shower. It was really fun! They had a great group of ladies there, and I really enjoyed visiting with them. Andria received lots of nice gifts and it was neat to see all the encouragement and love showered on her and her baby!

I found a spot on the floor to sit down so I could put Serena down with a couple toys. Before too long, she had rolled to the other side of the room and was 'playing' with Jordan's cousins Abby & Chloe.

Kari and Lynn (Kari's friend who hosted the shower) found this cute giraffe at Goodwill and used it as decoration for the baby shower. Afterward, we brought it home and Serena LOVED playing with it! I think she liked that he had so many parts that were skinny enough for her to get her chubby hands around and stick in her mouth! Jordan came up with the idea to wrap the giraffe's legs around Serena so she wouldn't have to worry about dropping him. :)
