It's hard to believe it, but it's already been a whole week since our new niece, Caroline Ruth, was born to Jordan's sister Andria and her husband Daniel! She was born at 3 in the afternoon (on the dot...she's apparently a very punctual little person!). She is healthy and sweet and very loved! New mommy Andria said she has been a very good baby during this first week of life, so hopefully she's going to keep up that trend! We drove over to Cedar Rapids on Friday so we could see Caroline in person. There's nothing quite like holding that tiny newborn baby bundle! Definitely a heaven-sent miracle!
Caroline weighed 8 lbs, 2.2 oz. As you can see, she was pretty fresh when this picture was taken! Little sweetie seems a little embarrassed to have her picture taken while she's naked on the scale, heehee! ;)
Look at that sweet bow in her hair! She has lots of dark hair and Andria said Caroline likes it when she brushes it!

Jordan dropped Serena & I off at the hospital and then went to work. We were at the hospital for most of the day, and Serena spent most of that time in my Moby wrap. She did really well! Got lots of comments in the elevator about being the Gerber baby, haha!
