Visitors!

After 2 long months down here, we finally had the pleasure of hosting some visitors from back home! Kari, Grant & Anna flew down on Thursday the 28th and flew home on Thursday the 4th. The time went by WAY too quickly, but it was wonderful to be with them again! Serena soaked up all the attention like a little sponge. She thought it was great waking up to more than just Mommy & Daddy in the mornings!

One evening we frosted sugar cookies. This was my attempt at making a cookie for each member of the Horak family (including the dogs), heehee! (Left to Right, Top to Bottom: Mia, Anna, Grant, Dad, Mom, Caroline, Luke, Anna, Serena, Daniel, Andria, Me, Jordan, Macy, and Rocky)

We even succeeded in talking Grant into helping draw faces. Here's his two creations!

Somehow we managed to squeeze in not one, but TWO trips to IKEA! ;)

Serena loves to hold someone's finger and lead them around. She was trying to get Daddy to go out in the yard with her, but he was wanting to go back into the house, haha!

Grandma brought a little puppet for the bathtub. It has a squirter in its mouth! It didn't take long for Serena to develop a flinch whenever that toy was out, haha!

Towards the end of their stay, Serena was getting more and more affectionate. She randomly went up and gave Grant a nice big long hug all on her own! Grandma was quick enough to catch the moment on camera!
