Daddy & Bret

I'm just in love with these pictures of Jordan & Bret!  Bretster was pretty tired today and up for some good snuggle-time with Daddy.

This morning, while I was trying to get dressed for the day, Cody was laying on the bed fussing.  Serena was in the other room playing with Daddy, and Bret was with me.  When he heard Cody start fussing, Bret climbed up next to Cody and “shushed” him while patting him softly.  It was SO sweet!  Reminded me of how Serena used to do that to Bret when they were Bret & Cody’s ages!

We went to visit Pa for a bit this afternoon.  Serena & Bret played with some Jack-in-the-Boxes that Pa had in a big tub toys.  Serena loved them, and it was HILARIOUS to watch her JUMP each time the box would pop open!!  There was also a battery-powered mouse in the box that scooted around and looked fairly life-like.  The kids were both SO nervous about it, and as you can imagine, Jordan got a huge kick out of teasing them with it!  They didn’t mind it too much when it was quiet and still, but as soon as he would flip the switch on and let it start moving, they would both run!  Poor little Bret was just trembling!
