Shopping!

Today the kids and I met up with Mom, Julia (and her kids), Julie, and Jess to go shopping in Iowa City!  We had so much fun spending my birthday money!  ;)  And the kids played in the play area with their cousins and took a ride on the train!  On the way home, Serena couldn‘t stop talking about her train ride and how she “Never road on a train before!  But now I did!”  After eating lunch at Olive Garden, we went to Kohl’s to find a purse for me.  When Serena found out that was our mission, she was SO excited about finding Mommy a purse!  She was ALL OVER that purse department finding purses for me, demonstrating pockets and zippers and pointing out colors.  Her mouth was going a mile-a-minute and we were all cracking up at her enthusiasm!
