Bigger Project than I Thought

Of course, when you're in Walmart and it's finally The Day that you're going to buy a TV and entertainment center, it's hard to think about such things as, "How big is our car?" or "How big is our apartment?" or "How complicated will it be to put this together?" :) I struggle with obvious questions like that when I'm excited. So, we got the TV, and it BARELY fit into the back seat of the car. Then, the DVD player wasn't too big, of course, but the entertainment center was. Thankfully, Chad was going to come to town and go bowling with us, so he took the entertainment center in his vehicle. Then Monday night I talked Jordan into putting it all together. So, he started around 5:30, took a break to eat supper, and finally finished around 9:30. I honestly had NO IDEA those things were so complicated!! But it was very rewarding. We did some rearranging (and Jordan had to re-hang the mirror) and voila! The apartment looks so different! Not so empty anymore! It's so exciting! I took these pictures on Tuesday night when I finally finished picking up and vaccuuming and putting things back in order after our big project. Jordan is laying on the couch studying for a test that he had in his block course on Wednesday. :)
