Even though we were only in Iowa for less than 40 hours, we definitely kept ourselves busy! We picked up the car Saturday morning and then met Jason & Julia for lunch at Ruby Tuesdays in Cedar Rapids. When we got back, Anna, Andria, and I messed around with a computer program that lets you upload a picture of yourself and then change the hairstyles. It was so funny!!! :) Then we worked on putting together a gingerbread house. None of us had ever done it before; I had to leave before it was totally finished, but I did get a picture of our progress (see the slideshow). In the evening, Grandma & Pa, Uncle Craig & Aunt Danielle, and JaJu all came out for some dessert (pie, brownies, ice cream, fudge, mmmm...). Then on Sunday we went to church and got to hear their Christmas cantata and see some old friends. Only 8 days till we'll be back!!! :)
