We had a wonderful 4th of July with Jordan's family in Iowa! We actually drove down on Monday night and got to go to one of Grant's baseball games and then to Luke's softball game. Tuesday Jordan put in over 8 hours of golf with Jason and then Jason and Julia had us over for a really fun time at their house. We got to spend time with the Rabe's and Jason and Melanie Barta came over with their kiddos Jeffrey and Jenna. We had some really yummy tacos and played Family Feud.
On Wednesday all the Rabes came over to the Horaks to join the big 4th of July party. After dark, the guys got to set off the fireworks we'd picked up in Wisconsin on our way to Iowa. They put on a great show! Part of the show also included burning a mower deck, which apparently has magnesium in it. I had no idea how bright magnesium is when it burns! Wow!
