Some Crazy Fun on July 5th

Apparently Jordan and Grant did not get their fill of explosions on the 4th, because they decided to try making more explosions on the 5th! They looked up on the internet how to make 2-liter bombs and, after gathering the necessary supplies, made an attempt. The first bomb went very smoothly. After getting it all put together, Jordan threw the bomb into the yard and it went off after about a minute. For the second bomb, the guys put in a little more dry ice and water, and the bomb went off a little more quickly than we expected! Jordan said he could feel the bottle swell in his hands, but it blew up before he could throw it. Jordan's mom got it all on video, which I posted below! (And, yes, the screamer is me!) Hahaha :) Still undaunted after their little mishap, the boys went on to successfully blast 3 more bombs. Later in the day, Luke, Grant, Jordan and I went to Chili's with Jason and Julia for supper and then Grant, Jordan, and I went to watch a baseball game. It was the highschool team Jordan used to play with in Marion. They came so close to winning, but lost the game in the end. It was really fun to watch, though, and to catch up with some of the people Jordan used to play with (including his old coach who still coaches that team)! It was also interesting to hear all of Jordan's reminisces about playing baseball! :)
