SHE'S HERE!!!

Macy came home to live with us on Saturday morning! She was exactly 7 weeks old and just as CUTE as could be! ;)

Having Macy around has definitely changed our daily living. She requires a lot of work! :P Thankfully, she is so cute and sweet that I don't really mind cleaning up after her too much! ;)

We are working hard on House Training: 101, and she seems to be catching on pretty well. She is also learning the word "Come."

Jordan definitely did a good job picking a cute dog! Macy's markings are so perfect! Her ears are kind of long, and almost hang past her short little snout when she is sniffing the ground. The hair on her ears is kinda curly, but everywhere else it is straight. She has 3 main black spots going down her back...a big one, a medium-sized one, and a little one right on her bum where her tail starts! Heehee! :) She has little black 'freckles' on her snout and then she has black lips! They are so funny!!! It looks like she is always wearing black lipstick!

Macy does everything enthusiastically. Jordan is her absolute favorite person in the whole wide world! Which is a good thing, because Jordan is the one who is doing most of her training. He is also the one who is taking her out at night when she needs to go and feeding and watering her. :)

But Macy loves everybody, especially children! She is so friendly! A lot of times when we take her outside, Macy will soon attract a small crowd of children all wanting to pet her. Most of the kids in our part of the apartment complex know Macy's name now! ;)

Macy's favorite thing to do right now is chew. It is so funny how she wants to see how everything feels between her teeth! She loves chasing after things too...leaves blowing across the lawn, ants crawling across the sidewalk, a shadow moving across her path.... I think her favorite toy (although it almost changes by the minute!) is probably her empty cardboard tube that used to hold paper towels. She tries to grab it, but since it is so light it bounces away; and then she runs after it, skidding across the linoleum. When she finally gets a hold of it, she chews it and shakes it and growls at it a little! It's so adorable!

When she gets tired, Macy can fall asleep in a matter of seconds. Sleepy Macy is so cute! She can hardly keep her eyes open even when you pick her up and move her while she's sleeping! If you try to make her play with you, she will just plop back down and fall asleep immediately. I wish I had the luxury of a nap whenever I felt like it! Haha! But when she wakes up, she is right back to her old curious, enthusiastic self! :)

Jessica got Macy a little cheerleading outfit at Target. We figured that Jordan would like to see how cute she looked in it, but for some reason he wasn't too excited about it. I don't know...I kinda like the idea of cheerleading-Macy running around in the fields helping Jordan hunt pheasants and things like that! Doesn't that sound cute?! I mean, who says a hunting dog can't look cute while she's hunting?
