Update on Baby Horak - 30 Weeks Pregnant

Our baby's length is about 16 inches. She weighs approximately 2 1/2 to 3 pounds. From now until delivery, every baby will gain weight at a more individual rate. Our baby has doubled in height over the past six weeks, and from now until her birthday, she'll grow only a few more inches in length. A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in my uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (I know, sounds like me without my contacts in!  Haha!)
