New Years

We always look forward to spending New Years at Mom's house in snowy Minnesota! This year, it was especially snowy, as they had just had a HUGE snowstorm over Christmas week. Jason & Julia and Kaden drove up on the 30th, Julie had already flown in back on the 18th, and her boyfriend Eric flew in on the 30th; it's always SO good to have the family together again! Lots of people from church were able to make it to the New Years Eve party, even some of our friends who had married/moved away, so it was wonderful to be reunited with them again as well!! :)

The VOP (minus Laura). These were my best friends in high school!

Christa and I...and our babies (just4 1/2 months apart)

We celebrated Christmas with my family on New Years Day. It's especially fun now that we have little kiddos to share in the excitement!

Serena wasn't sure if she'd rather pull on the wrapping paper or suck on it. Thankfully, Kaden was very willing to help her rip open her presents...and play with her toys! ;)

Aunt Jessie always makes sure EVERYONE in the family gets presents...even the dogs!

Kaden was very excited about opening presents...especially this remote control truck! I love Jason & Julia's expressions...either "Oh, great! What are we in for?" or "Pretty sure Daddy's going to get a lot of fun hours out of this present!" ;) (The bow was for Jason & Julia's baby girl coming in May. They tried it on Kaden for a laugh! So funny!) :D

We had such a great time with the whole family together. We played lots of games, played with the kiddos, and even went bowling!

The boys left us to go watch some football at Justin's for an afternoon. Poor Macy was so forlorn. We found her sleeping on Jordan's hat and gloves from the snow football game that were laying out drying.

Julie & I at the bowling alley. I miss her so much since she's so far away in Texas!

I finally have people to play my favorite game with me! The girls learned how to play Rook! :)
