Serena has a fascination with snowmen. Between the "Snowmen" books by Buehner, "The Snowman" by Briggs, and of course the song and story "Frosty the Snowman," she is pretty much obsessed. Finally, knowing that the weather was supposed to be a bit warmer this week, Jordan told her he'd try to build a snowman with her on his days off. She could NOT. WAIT! Jordan built the snowman on Monday during naptime, and when Serena came out, he brought her to the window and showed her "Frosty." She was completely captivated from first sight! She was so busy after that gathering up hats, mittens, scarves, cuties (the boy in the book by Briggs uses oranges to decorate his snowman), and carrots! It was a dream come true to go outside and see her snowman and decorate him with Daddy!!!
She now has plans to make another snowman and name him Corduroy. ;)
