Christmastime is so fun with these little munchkins!
We made sugar cookies, and the kids were involved in it all, but of course the decorating was the most fun! Serena took charge of the baking - sliding the cookies in, setting the timer, checking them to see if they were done, taking them out - and she was pretty proud of herself! I was pretty worried she was going to get burned, but she made it with only a couple light burns! ;P

After all the cookies were done, they each had a big "gingerbread man" shaped cookie for themselves and they used the leftover frosting and sprinkles and some raisins and chocolate chips to decorate him |
|
Some managed to get more frosting on the cookie before it got in their mouths than others did.... ;D |
Christmas Eve was spent at Mom's house with my siblings and their families! :)

Serena got Little House paper dolls, and hardly did anything else for the rest of the day, even forgetting her excitement to play with her cousins! |
Christmas Day was at the Horak's, but I unfortunately have no pictures of that! It was very special, though! And I got to spend some time with Jordan and the dogs out in the field, which was a treat for me! We enjoyed seeing all the Aunts & Uncles that evening, too!
