Another Trip to Milwaukee...and the Christmas Program

Wow! I can hardly believe what a lucky girl I am! Last Friday night we got to take yet another trip to Milwaukee!!! It was very fun, except that I was really hoping to get together with Julie again but she decided to get sick instead. :( We took Dr. Nair (from India) down because he was going to be ministering at Dr. Horn's church in Brookside over the weekend. We ate at Cheesecake Factory with him. It was delicious!!! I had the Fettuccine with Chicken and Sun-Dried Tomatoes. I had only been there once before (about 3 years ago), but I did not remember the portions being so large! I felt like I kept on eating and eating and my plate was still just as full as when they brought it out! So, we were all so full by the end that we decided to get our cheesecake to go...because it is pretty much a crime to go to the Cheesecake Factory and not get any cheesecake! YUMMY!!!

We stayed in the same hotel as we did the last time we were there. We did a little shopping, and then we stayed up late and ate our cheesecake in bed! :) Of course we slept in on Saturday morning (we sleep in every Saturday morning if we can!) and then we went to Panera for breakfast. Have you tried their Gingerbread bagel? Very good! After that we hit the Appleton mall where I snagged some wonderful deals for myself at the Limited and Express. Have you ever noticed that pretty much every male employed by Express is gay?! Yeah, I asked one of them a question about a sale they were having and he had to go ask his manager. The manager came back and before telling me that they could not accommodate my request he told me that I was a 'savvy shopper' and that he 'liked that.' I felt like telling him that he was gay and I didn't like that...but I just smiled and soon thereafter made my way out of the store!

Anyway, the rest of the weekend was pretty much devoted to schoolwork for Jordan. So Sunday night I went to our church's Christmas program while poor Jordan stayed at home and worked on writing his last paper of the semester. :P The program was wonderful: the Gospel was the focal point, and the kids did a great job at presenting it! Afterwards, we had a fellowship time in the basement. The place was packed out, and it was so fun! Here are some pics from that night (left to right: Jessie, Me, Natasha, Alyssa, and Emi):
