A Slew (Slough? What's That Word Supposed to Be, Anyway?) of Pics

Those eyes.  He's up to something!
Christmas was amazing for Serena this year.  She just soaked up every single element!  From the decor, to the stories, to the nativities, to the presents (giving and receiving); the whole thing just hit her at a really awesome time in her development!  SO many precious memories were made during this Christmastime!  I hope I never forget what it was like for her to be 3 at Christmas!  For the last few days, she's been keeping busy giving everyone Christmas presents.  She finds random toys, wraps them up in a blanket, and gives them to some lucky person (usually me).  I always make a big deal, "Ohhhh!  Oh THANK you!  This is WONDERFUL!  A COW?!  Really?  That is SO nice of you!"  You get the idea.  ;)  Sometimes she gives it to Bret.   His attempt to mimic me is priceless!  The huge look of surprise and all the exclamations over each item as he then tosses it aside (notice the flying couch in the top left corner of the picture)...this is good stuff!

Bathtime for Cody
Very conscientious big sister

She loves her baby

Kinda funny - I have a picture of Serena in this thing reading books when she was about 20 months or so...she weighed just a few ounces more than Cody does right now, hahahaa!!!

"Hi Cody!  You're such a sweet boy, Cody!  I love you, Cody!  Are you going to smile?  Oh!  Are you talking to me, Cody?"  This kid has the baby talk thing DOWN!  ;)

Major goofball this morning!

The Bretster boy!!!  Wish there were words to convey....

Found these awesome lace-up cards for a couple bucks at the thrift store.  Perfect condition!  The holes are all either numbered or alphabetized, and Serena is quickly learning how to find the starting points!

I love this little cowboy sleeper!  It's 9-mo, but already I can see that its days of fitting our little cowboy are numbered, so figured I'd better snap a picture!  ;P

There's a little horseshoe pocket on the back.  I mean, how cute is that?!

Pals

She was going on and On and ON telling stories to Cody.  Hilarious!  And kept them BOTH occupied for quite a while!
