Well, we're down to just 10 more days till the recital! Actually, 10 days, 7 hours, and 16 minutes! Not that anybody is keeping track or anything! :) Heehee! I hardly know whether to dread it or to look forward to it. I can't wait to have the family here and to enjoy the freedom that I will have once it's over. But on the other hand, I am nervous and not really sure if I'm as ready as I'd like to be. Please pray for me, faithful blog-readers! :)
Not too much has been going on around here. Jordan is very busy with his schoolwork and I've been putting in a lot of time on the piano, of course. However, I do have high hopes of a trip to Green Bay this weekend for a little shopping! :)
In the midst of everything, I have found time to take up a new hobby: crochet! No, that's not 'croquet' (Luke!), which is a very nice yard game; this is 'crochet,' you know, where you make scarves and blankets and stuff like that. ;) Jordan's been making fun of me for it, but I think he's just jealous that he doesn't know how to do it. :)
We are still looking for a car. We've had some good options open up, but we're still waiting on God to show us exactly which car is supposed to be our future set of wheels. :) In the meantime, the Little Red Car keeps on running, and we're thankful for that! Even though I will be glad to have a nicer car, I will be a little sad to see the Little Red Car go; I don't think I'll be writing any satirical odes to it like I did with the pineapple couch! ;) Maybe a sonnet.... Hahaha!
Okay, leave me a comment if you have any encouraging verses to share...I need some encouragement as I'm in these last days of recital prep! Thanks for your prayers and support, family! :)

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. . . For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. (Is. 41:10) That means, "It will be FINE, Sweetheart!!!" I love you so much!!! :) (I thought it was neat that the Lord is going to hold your hand and you will STILL be able to play the piano!!) HE is SO GREAT!!!!! Love, Mom R.
what's the worst that can happen?
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and he Shall Direct thy paths (and I think that somewhere in the context it says that He shall direct they fingers too!!) Maybe not, but He's going to bring you to the other side and bless all your hard work!!! I love you girl. I wish I could be there to cheer you on. Play well, look pretty, and most of all Honor the Lord. No matter what comes out of your fingers play becuase you are want to honor Him! Remember you are playing for an audience of ONE!!!!!!
My dear Jennifer,Two of my favorite verses are: Romans 4:20-21. "And he (Abraham) staggered not at the promises of God in unbelief, but he was strong in faith, giving glory to God, being FULLY PERSAUDED that what God had promised, He was able also to perform." God WILL supply His grace in your time of need! And give you peace. You and the Lord will do GREAT! See you SOON!
I love you, Gr'ma
